South Central rapper T.F is a storyteller of all things skanless. His earlier releases “Erthang Skanless” & “No Hooks” EP, displayed some of his cut throat, high pitched style lyrics along with street driven music. A major co-sign from ScHoolboy Q in the form of a guest verse on “Tookie Knows II” gave T.F the boost of momentum he utilized to become what he is today, a leading voice for the streets.
T.F is back!!! With an installment that the fans are ready for but not quite expecting. This time, TF linked up with production
collective Local Astronauts to spearhead a full length project titled “Skanless Summer”. The concept behind this project comes from the artists’ love of classic street movies and gory cinema, and how it is directly connected to his lifestyle in so many ways. Skanless Summer is a 10 song experience that captures very vivid moments of gang life, survival tales, and witty storytelling that has not been done before.
Tracks like “Michael Myers’ and “Ted Dibiase” offer a 2 part storyline look into famous characters. While “A Wax & O Dog” and “Spray” take you back to those early 90’s LA street culture. Features
including Jay Worthy, Bale, Ice Cold Bishop, G4 Jag, Washeyi Choir, Meaku and more makes the project loaded with different voice tones and lyrical approaches.
